My Digital Rebel XT arrived today, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's so much more responsive than my S45. Everything is faster: focusing, shutter lag, CF card writing, power-up time, etc.

It's so nice to be able to really use the viewfinder. I always preferred it over the LCD screen, as I've been better able to pick out detail and see depth using it, but my previous camera didn't show you the entire image that the camera would take, which was annoying, and I had no idea what shutter speed/aperture it would use. Of course, these two things are pretty much standard for digital rangefinder camera. But now all those problems are gone.

I let Havilah borrow/have my S45, so you should be seeing more pictures from her now, since she won't have to pay for film and development.

Overall, it just feels better to take pictures with this camera (Although for 4 times the cost, it had better. )
